View from The Shard Tickets

Children aged under 3 go FREE at The Shard! Children aged 4 to 16 will need a valid child priced ticket. Children of all ages must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over.

Tickets to The Shard are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The View From The Shard - Highlights:

Designed by Master Architect Renzo Piano, The Shard towers over the London skyline at a height of 1,016ft (310m), making it the tallest building in Western Europe.

The View, which is situated on Levels 68, 69 and 72 of The Shard, sits at nearly twice the height of any other viewing platform in the UK’s capital city.

Booking Shard tickets allows you to journey to 800ft (244m) above the great city of London, embarking on a multi-sensory journey.

Upon arrival at Level 00, you’ll catch glimpses of the city laid out before you. Travelling ever-higher in one of the two high-speed ‘kaleidoscopic’ lifts, you’ll soon reach Level 68 which rests high up in the clouds above this historic city.

London is once again revealed in an astonishing 350 degree view at Level 69, offering views over the city and 40-miles into the surrounding counties. Whilst you drink in this incredible sight, multimedia displays bring the past, present and future of London to life.

And on to the best view in town with your ascent to Level 72, which at 244m is the highest public level of The Shard. From this unparalleled viewpoint which is exposed to the elements, sights and sounds of the city far below, you can look up to see the shards of glittering glass as they disappear skywards to the top of this magnificent, iconic skyscraper.

The Shard - Key Facts

Availability:

The Shard will be open daily (except December 25th) between 9am and 10pm from February 1st 2013.

Location:

The Shard is located in London Bridge Quarter beside London Bridge Station.

Restrictions:

• To ensure safety, you will be required to pass through an electronic body scan and have personal items and luggage scanned before entry to The Shard.
• Items that cannot be taken into The Shard include rucksacks and large bags over 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20cm) or other large equipment. There are no cloakroom facilities for bags and although pushchairs can be folded and left in the designated are in the booking hall, coats and bags may not be left with them.
• Children up to 3 years old do not pay for entry, but still require a valid ticket. Children of 4-15-years-old also need a valid ticket and must be accompanied by an adult of 16-years-old or over.
• Open food or drink containers cannot be taken into The View.
